Synopsis

Die Nerven von Johnson liegen blank: Seine letzten sechs Tage in Vietnam sind angebrochen und er kann es kaum erwarten, wieder ein «normales» Leben zu führen und sich in der Bürgerrechtsbewegung zu engagieren. Die Gruppe erhält den Auftrag, einen charismatischen Vietcong-Rekruten zu eliminieren, doch das Vorhaben geht schief, als Johnson und Doc gefangen genommen werden. Nun ist es an der Zeit für eine Aussprache. Doch die Situation spitzt sich bedrohlich zu, auch wenn die Rettungsmannschaft im Anmarsch ist. Wird Johnson, so kurz vor Ende seines Dienstes, aus dieser heiklen und gefährlichen Situation lebend herauskommen?
