Synopsis

Alex’ Exmann taucht auf, um ihren Besitz aufzuteilen. Alex versucht ruhig zu bleiben und sich an die Tipps ihres Therapeuten zu halten. Doch dann wird ihr klar, dass ihr die Trennung von Joey viel mehr zu schaffen macht. Joey will indessen für Candace und ihre Großmutter Gloria kochen. Dabei möchte er v.a. Gloria beeindrucken. Aber sie kann Joey nicht leiden, weil er sie an ihren ersten verhassten Ehemann Herman erinnert. Um Glorias Meinung doch noch zu ändern, erklärt er sich bereit, eine Musical-Aufführung in ihrem Seniorenheim zu inszenieren – mit Gloria in der Hauptrolle …
