Synopsis

Der junge Jesse hat sein ganzes Leben damit verbracht, Billard zu meistern, und möchte den Besten schlagen: den verstorbenen Fats Brown. Als er gerufen wird, scheint Fats Brown ihn zu einer Partie Billard herauszufordern. Es geht um Jesses Leben. Nach einem spannenden Match gelingt Jesse kein entscheidender Schuss. Fats sagt ihm, dass er tatsächlich „sterben“ wird: Er wird als der zweitklassige Spieler sterben, der er immer war.
