Synopsis

Alice (Kaley Cuoco) sucht nach dem verschwundenen Tom (Sam Claflin). In Marseille trifft sie seinen besten Freund Alex (Matthias Schweighöfer), der zugleich Chef von Toms Hilfsorganisation ist. Von ihm erfährt sie, dass Tom etwas Prägendes auf einer seiner Missionen widerfahren ist, das ihn zutiefst verändert hat. Gleichzeitig taucht in seinem Notizbuch der Name „Aurelié“ auf – eine Frau, die Alice nicht kennt und von der sie noch nie gehört hat. Alice kommt mit Hilfe der Journalistin Hélène (Karin Viard) einem Geheimnis auf die Spur und ahnt nicht, dass sie nun selbst in Gefahr gerät.
