Synopsis

Dan Tannas Freund, der Sänger und Showstar Wayne Newton, wird von einem Unbekannten tyrannisiert. Zuerst bekommt er nur Blumen mit Feuerwerkskörpern und Drohbriefe, aber dann eskaliert die Situation. Der Unbekannte verübt einen ersten Anschlag auf Newton – der jedoch misslingt. Hinter all dem steckt Benny Lang, ein erfolgloser Kollege, der als Newton-Imitator in drittklassigen Bars arbeitet.
