あらすじ

その国では世界中の本を集めていて、図書館で借りられるのは、持ち込んだ本と同じ冊数だけ、という本の国だ。その国に向かう途中、行き倒れの男を砂漠で助けるキノ。その男は、本の国から脱出してきたらしく「実はあの国では、本を書くことが禁止されているんだ。だけど僕は本を書く仕事がしたくてね」と語り出し…。
